5 AI prompts that save insurance agents hours every week

AI won't replace you. It replaces the busywork. Here are five prompts you can copy, paste, and use today. Open a free AI tool like ChatGPT or Claude, swap the words in [brackets] for your details, and make it sound like you.

One rule: never paste a client's private info (name, birthday, Social Security number, or health details) into a public AI tool. Keep that out. Follow your carrier's and state's rules.

1. Write your follow-up text

Slow follow-up loses deals. This writes it in seconds.

You are my assistant. Write a short, friendly follow-up text to a person I just talked to about [type of life insurance]. We talked about [main point]. Keep it under 4 sentences. Warm, simple words, no pressure. End by asking when is a good time to wrap things up.

2. Get help with an objection

Practice your answer before the call, not during it.

Act as a top life insurance sales coach. A client said: "[their objection]." Give me 3 short, honest ways to respond that I can say out loud. No pushy lines. Each one under 3 sentences.

3. Score your own call

Like a coach reviewed it โ€” for free.

Here is a transcript of my sales call: [paste the transcript]. Act as a sales coach. Tell me 3 things: 1) the moment I lost them, 2) one thing I did well, 3) the exact words to try next time. Keep it short and kind.

4. Explain a policy in plain words

Confused clients don't buy.

Explain [policy type, like whole life] to a 60-year-old with no insurance background. Use simple words, short sentences, and one everyday example. Keep it under 150 words.

5. Plan your day

Call the right people first.

Here is my list of people to call today with quick notes: [paste your list]. Help me rank who to call first and why. Put the most likely to buy at the top. One line each.
